Amin R. Before then, he earned his LL.M. in International Law from NYU School of Law, where he received a full-ride scholarship, served as a graduate editor for the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics, and collaborated with globally recognized legal scholars. His legal background also includes experience with the New York Immigration Court and the Open Society Foundation.

An accomplished legal scholar, Mr. Yacoub has authored 16 academic articles in top U.S. law journals. His scholarship has been cited by leading academics, including Oxford philosophers, and by the Supreme Court of Kentucky in a landmark decision changing state law for millions of residents—underscoring his recognition as a subject-matter expert in immigration and international law.

Outside of his legal career, Mr. Yacoub is passionate about interdisciplinary learning in Cosmology, Economics, and Philosophy. He enjoys playing chess, swimming, and exploring ultra-spicy cuisine.
